Ancillary: Producing the poster

I am going to talk about the process of creating the poster. My ideas for the poster was to have it quite simploistic but effective. i wanted to have an existing picture which was previously in the digipak to make a link.Have the title and artist name.  i wanted to add the production company logo and website

Below i started to add in the text that i wanted and and find an suituable font. I decided to keep the same font i used in the digipak for both the Artist name and title name which was Base 02. I wanted the fonts to stand out so i decided to have an 3d outline around the words. i did this my just dubbeling the words and layering them on top of eachother. i then added in a grey box to place the out now symbol writing on top of.

Ithen started adding the available stores logos whcih ware itunes and hmv. i talso added the link to the artists website

I then added an fiter effect to the image which was dark strokes but recieved feedback telling me i should change it because it was changing the artists image

 I then was told that the name of the artist should be bigger then the name of the album which i then altered. I then added the image of the digipak so the audience can now how it looks.
