Adobe Photoshop Elements is a raster image editing product. The program allows users to create, edit, organise and share images, all from the same product.

Some useful basic instructions when starting to use the program

1)To start using adobe select start blank file, a window will come up asking for specific presets such as the width and height which has to be inserted.

2) To import images go to file open which the the image will appear and will be shown at the bottom. you can then start editing it separately on its own or you can drag it onto your previous page.

3) you can start editing buy selecting on items on the tool bars on the left or going to effect on top task bar

4) on the left there would be a section called layers, with this you can select which item to work on and lock any item you do not want to be changed. it also allows you to position your image weather you want it all the way at the front or behind another
