For the front cover I have a very clear idea of what I want and this is, that I want to present the artist to the audience, and what better way to do this than with his face, so I have chosen the best close up that I found.
For the back cover I have been thinking and after the research I made the best thing to do is to keep it simple, having just for the background the same colour that I will use in the front without a picture. Trying to follow the conventions.
For the inside panels I have got a couple of Ideas that I need to work out. For the panel that holds the CD I will use the next picture:
I like this picture because it represents music, which is what the CD is saving plus the guitar is the world symbol of indie music. |
But for the other panel I have to chose from these pictures or create some kind of figures recreating the city or use some kind of effects to recreate the lights of the city at night and write some words.
I like this picture for the inside panel because it has plenty space to play with and also to write something good and the buildings are a good background. |
I like this picture because it has the clear connection with the guitar, I also like the sun on his face. |
For my poster I want to have the artist as the main item of the advert so I have been looking for a good close up or a medium close up that can do the work and I found these two pictures:
This picture has plenty of space to add any words that I would like to write down and can be easily manipulate, plus does what I want which is to have the artist as a the main item of the poster. |
