Production: Talking About Day 1

          Day 1

Location: Tottenham court road (Morwell street) - pavement

Objective: Day ones objective was to film film our first base track which was the pavement scene at night and in the morning. 

Equipment: Camera –tripod steadicam top light spot light

Props and clothing : Guitar,jumper and jeans

How did it go ? 
On the day of filming it was  very cold which made it hard to play the guitar as  i had frost bite on fingers and the strings were freezing. We successfully manged to film the base track at night and morning.

Problems:  There where some problems we faced on the day when filming. on problem was since it was behind an office building we hand many workers coming out the back to smoke which meant they would be in our shot and walk pass while we were filming. because i was on a pavement the Filmer was filming while he was in the middle of the road so cars continuously drove pass and filming had to be stopped.
One big problem was that the phone which had the song playing had an dead battery. This meant we had no song to play which was a problem as i had to sing with the song for the video to be in sync. to deal with this we went to the nearest Carphone warehouse and charged the phone. we then sent it to another phone in our group. this taught us to make sure next time we come out to film everyone should have the song on heir phone.

We then did some improvised filming of another base track on the oppisite wall which made out to be a great scenery for a ase track

Night filming: Less distractions and people. Some good lighting as we hand street lamps over us
