REFLECTING AS Year - Technical Skills

Throughout my AS year I believe I have developed my technical skills. This is by producing short films with a variety of camerawork; such as the rule of thirds, different shots (close-ups, long shots, medium shots and high angle etc.) and editing the clips on Final Cut Pro. Using Final Cut Pro, I was able shorten footage; use a range of transitions and filters. Also I’ve learned that to get the best footage is to always use the tripod to get the best realistic shots and never use the camera free handed unless needed to. In addition I tried using Live Type to add text to the thriller clip we made, however I did not have enough practice but hopefully this time I would be able to improve my skills using Live type during this project in A2. Moreover, I came across Soundtrack Pro as well, where I have learned how to choose and add sound effects to a chosen clip.

My technical skills during blogging has also developed in terms of other technologies, such as using Prezi's, Beeclip and Wordle.
