As I believe this music video outstands from the others. The production and post-production of this video is one of the best. The narration style is not conventional, it start with the end and then start to tell us the story of a night which for the two main characters end up in a pregnancy test.
The music video is about the night of two young teenagers. Showing a party where at the end they go home toguether.
The narrative it is not conventional of music video and this might be because the song has not lyrics or chorus therefore the team had more freedom to develop ideas of a continues narrative. The representation of gender is equal; both sides are showed as sexual objects. The camera work is very good the use of focus and out focus is well played. Even though the song has no lyrics the use of MCU and Cu in the artist lead the audience to know the singer and does very good job promoting. The editing is very good in fast pace cutting with the music of the song. The use of the clock give us the sense of narration, we know what time things happened.
I believe this music video does not fit in any of the 3 groups that Andrew Goodwin presents (amplification, disjuncture, illustration) beacuse there is not define lyrics to compare which makes the video even a better succes beacuese the production team had not base on which could start to develop an idea.
