This is one of Taylor Swift’s latest album “Red”. While
searching for album inspirations I came across this image. The photo effect on
the left is something I find quite interesting and different. The image which I
am using for the inside panel does not fit properly onto the template,
therefore I have decided to use this type of effect by repeating the image
three times.
The screenshot i've taken above is the first attempt of designing the inside panel. It didn't go to plan as I thought it would :( The reason for this is because the image on the left was not wide enough to fit on the template, also as for the colour of the image it was too blue compared to the front cover. This made it look like two different pieces.
So I went back to edit the original image again, this time with a less 'blue' tone effect. I was left with a much more natural effect.
And above is what it looked like after fixing the images. After placing the images I decreased the opacity.
My purpose for using the artist with the guitar is to show the audience that this artists life belongs to his guitar, it's his everything. This is conventional, as Ed Sheeran has a guitar as well, which he uses in most of music videos/pictures.
