"The city" is a song by Ed Sheeran and his genre is something between a combination of acustic folk and grime, but also indie, specially this song.
It is really difficult to establish a clear genre for this song but I would say is indie with a fast upbeat. Indie is a minimalistic genre for music videos, they are famous for been all about the artist or the band and the song taking away the selling of the style, as other genres do like pop or hip-hop.
An example of this genre and style of videos is "Somebody That I use to know" by Gotye. This video shows how minimalistic this genre is and is all about promote the artist and the song and nothing else.
